The groom is the son of the late Rowena Kirkpatrick Gaunt of Miami, Fla. and the late James D. Gaunt II of Novum, Va. Maternal grandparents are the late Dorothy Kirkpatrick of Bethel, Maine and the late Brig. Gen. Richard Kirkpatrick of Sommerset, Va. Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. James Gaunt of Sperryville.
The 7:30 p.m. ceremony was held at the historic Trinity Episcopal Church with Dr. Wayne Bernardo of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church officiating. The bride was given in marriage by Gordon Jones on behalf of family and friends.
Ina Clements of St. Simons Island, Ga. was the maid of honor and Craig Smith of Reva, Va. was best man.
