No 'waiting'
for success
To the Editor:
On behalf of the American Heart Association, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our community for their generous support of the “Celebrity Waiter-Waitress Dinner” on May 31st. Because of your participation it was a great success.
A special thank you goes to the following: Washington Volunteer Fire Department for the use of their facility.
Our waiters and waitresses, Jim Swindler (top producer), Doug McCabe, Pat Davis, Butch Zindel, Frances Foster, Diane Bruce, Frank Reynolds, Bob Scott and Brad Fisher, for all their hard work as well as their entertainment.
All the area businesses who gave a contribution: Flint Hill Store, Laurel Mills Store, Baldwin’s Grocery, Flint Hill Public House, Four and Twenty Blackbirds, Country Cafe, The Inn at Little Washington, Bleu Rock Inn, The Appetite Repair Shop and Country Manor.
