That should bring me some grief!
I went to the performance of “Rythms” a one act play by Chris White at the Ki Theater. It was terrific, wonderful, great. There are two impressions for me at a live performance (providing that I can hear it), what was the message and how well was it delivered. It was about real life fear and loneliness. It was serious, poignant, provocative and really too complicated to discuss in my allotted space. I will not choose best actress for some obvious reasons but I would like to compliment Robin Herr for doing so well without the past credentials that many others have accumulated. Congratulations to all for a quality work so well done.
A few days ago I was listening to an interview with an author. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name and the novel’s title. The following quote came from his book and it seems worth repeating. “Men talk to women so that they can sleep with them. Women sleep with men so they can talk to them” that would have been a good line for the play and pertinent?
