Kelly Michelle Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Brown of Washington graduated on Sunday, May 24 from Sweet Briar College with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and an elementary education teaching certificate.
While attending Sweet Briar, Miss Brown was an Orientation Group leader. During January 1991, she worked as an intern teaching at Rappahannock Elementary School.
Sweet Briar College, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia, is a nationally ranked, highly selective, independent liberal arts and sciences college for women. It has a national reputation for its unique honors program, its program in the sciences, and its junior year abroad program, which is part of the College’s focus on international affairs.
