Navy Petty Officer 3rd Classm Andrew K. Pratt, whose wife, Betty, is the daughter of Martha and George E. Kidwell Jr. of Route 1, Castleton recently deployed aboard the destroyer USS Comte de Grasse, homeported in Norfolk for six months in the Mediterranean Sea.
The 1989 graduate of Rappahannock High School, Spenyville, joined the Navy in August 1989.
