My senior citizen generation has massive experience, most of the money, general fair health and not much else worth doing in comparison. What can we do? I am not sure but certainly getting angry would be a good start. Voting incumbents out might be constructive. Holding AARP’s feet to the fire might be good. AARP claims to be the defender of senior citizens. Perhaps we should get their supposed massive lobby force working for the cause.
It seems to me that AARP doesn’t do much except sell advertising space so that money makers can sell the subscribers, that is us, the senior citizens, things we don’t need. A quick audit might tell us what they really do with the profits. They are a little like the Red Cross, when a cause is imminent they get volunteers to go out and beg for money, then distribute government donated
