entered a Technology Bowl team again this year, Joe Dunagan, Clint Carlson, and John Dwyer represented our school very well. Students individually took a written test and the top 10 teams with the highest composite score were ranked in the finals. Our team won the first round of the oral finals but lost a close match in the second round. We went on to place third in the state.

A problem solving team consisting of John Dwyer and Clint Carlson solved the problem given but did not place.

Students were to produce a working coin sorter with materials provided. In the Control Technology contest, students had to design a solution to a given problem using Lego bricks, motors, and gears. Solutions were judged and teams with the best designs went on to the finals. They used the Logo computer language to program their machine to be controlled by a press of a button.
