There have been some isolated thoughts through my head over the past week or so. None of it seemed to want to come out the end of my fingers.

What thoughts? The spoiling of the ecology, the National Debt, fraud, riots, starvation in the world, communist collapseresulting needs, political corruption, those thoughts. Another thought that troubles me is that I am getting older, that doesn’t scare me from a mortal sense but in relation to all those other problems. It is getting a little late for me to do anything sustantial about them.

There was a time, about eight years ago, when I retired that I fooled myself into a tranquil state. I had paid my dues, now I would at last be able to golf and fish and watch the children and grandchildren thrive and prosper. I would tell them how it used to be to walk five miles to school, work ten hours everyday on the farm, pain and deprivation and other exagerations. But thinking and reading have taken their toll. It has occurred to me that most of the troubles of the world, at least in this hemisphere have happened during my life Jime. The world was not in this bad a shape when I arrived.
