A health fair has been added to the Amissville Ruritan Club’s Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 20 on the grounds of Gariy’s Carpet. The health fair will be conducted inside the Early Building and will include cholesterol ($5 fee), blood pressure, and diabetes screening.
About 60 crafts are expected. To reserve your 10 by 12 space call Bill at 933-4604 or Lorraine at 937-5500 or 1-800-870-9098. Cost is $20 for one or $35 for two spaces.
To sign up for the fire department’s parade on June 25, call J.B. Carter at 937-4218, contestants for honorary fire chief and her court may call Sandy at 937-4218.
RAA Little League will hold an auction at 2 p.m. on June 14 at Stuart Field. To donate items call 937-5975 or 703-347-1128.
Other fundraisers include a mothers’ softball game tentatively set for 2 p.m. June 13 and a fathers’ softball game set for 2 p.m. on June 7 both at Stuart Field.
