Miss Settle was bom July 16, 1904, in Castleton, the daughter of the late Frank B. and Luemma Tharp Settle. She was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Salem Baptist Church.
Surviving are a number bf^nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bill Fletcher, K.P. Grigsby, William Tharp, Melvin Tusing, Emory Russell and Richard Compton.
Honorary pallbearers were W.G. East ham, Charles Cannon and Carroll Settle.
Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
