Drama club
a smash hit!
To the Editor:
If you saw the show you already know. If you missed it, why did you? It was such up-beat entertainment, so much good fun, and so well done. The RCHS Drama Club is setting standards of performance for our community that are truly hard to beat.
What is very easy to improve on, however, is the community support. The opening night audience didn’t begin to fill the auditorium. The student cast that had worked so hard and achieved so much deserved the appreciation of a full house and the louder laughs and spontaneous applause that the fine comedy performance deserved.
As a long-time professional actordirector I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The actors, the director, the production and technical crew all did so much better than I could have hoped for, especially when you consider that everyone had so much else to do, so late in the school year. Believe it, cast and crew, I am so proud of you.
