Now, I have returned to Virginia with a better knowledge of some of our mid-western relatives. How they came to be there and some of the reasons their forefathers migrated from the Old Dominion. I've found them to be a people that do require that one “show them” your intentions are genuine and honorable. Once this is done you cross that barrier that has given them that name, almost as you’d cross the Mississippi into the rest of our country.
Public hearing
on aging plan
On Tuesday, June 16 the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold a public hearing on the FY93 Plan for services to assist the older residents of Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Orange counties. The hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the parish hall of the Precious Blood Catholic Church, 401 N. Main St., Culpeper.
The public is invited to review the services for the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Board.
