the son of Col. and Mrs. John H. Williams, Route 1, Amissville, was a letterman on the varsity football, soccer, and golf teams while at Ranolph-Macon. He was also a member of the Yellow Jackets Monogram Club. He plans to enroll as a member of the fourth-year class at Virginia Military Institute in the fall.

On the recommendation of
Superintendent Robert Estabrook, the Rappahannock School Board last week implemented the sick leave bank requested in March by the Rappahannock County Education Association.
The action to set up the bank on a one year trial came on a split vote with Robert Eastham and Nelson Lane opposed. Modeled' after similar policies in effect in Frederick County and Winchester City school divisions, the bank provides for teachers who have exhausted their personal sick leave to draw from the pool and is intended to provide additional protection for personnel faced with catastrophic illness. Membership in the pool is not mandatory; to join, teachers voluntarily donte a day of sick leave. The pool is limited to a maximum of 300 days.
