The featured dog at the shelter in Amissville this week is a black, tan and white Australian-shepherd cross, eight months to 1year-old, found on Route 615 in Castieton.
Other dogs available this week include a dobermanshepherd, 5-years-old, female, black and tan, free spaying; a lab cross 3-yearold male named Neggie, black with white on chest and feet; a husky cross, 1 to 2-year-old female, black and cream color, found at Castleton Fire Department; a shepherd cross, 3-month-old cream-color female, very friendly and playful, found on Route 639 in Amissville; a rottweiler, 8-months to 1year-old female, black and tan, found on U.S. 522, Huntly dumpster.
Also available is a black and white 3 to 4-year old male cat.
