called “Broken Silence” will be leading the church in worship.
“Broken Silence” is composed of six Virginia college students representing various campus Baptist Student Unions. Worship will consist of a variety of Christian music, including contemporary Christian, puppetry, dramatic and comedy skits, and personal testimonies from members of the ensemble.
Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The community is also invited to a churchwide covered dish picnic sponsored by the church’s Sunday School. The picnic is at the Rappahannock Park beginning with games at 4 p.m. and supper at 6 p.m. If circumstances allow, the renewal services will be held at the picnic pavillion. Otherwise, the party will move back to the church for the renewal services.
