Amigaville Volunteer Fire Company will hold its annual carnival June 24-27 this year. Features include a parade on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.; crowning of the queen and court at 9 p.m. Friday, and the awarding of the grand prizes and numerous other prizes Saturday night.
Sandi Carter is in charge of the queen contest and J.B. Carter is directing the parade activities. Entrants desiring information may contact them at 937-4218.
A midway complete with exciting rides and concessions, a food stand and drink booth and a variety of games and prizes round out the carnival atmosphere.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun and support the volunteer firemen and rescue personnel who render such a vital service to the communities of the area. Volunteers are also needed to assist in manning the carnival. Call Mr. Carter if you can help.
