Great Meadow announced this week plans for the area’s biggest ever family 4th of July celebration near The Plains.
National champion stunt pilot Earle Andrews is scheduled to thrill spectators with daring acrobatics in his 400 MPH Pitt Special, the only U.S. built plane capable of unlimited acrobatic competition at the world level. His flying combines gut wrenching maneuvers, including multiple rolls, vertical rolls, gyroscopics, triple snaps, torque rolls and tail slides.
The evening’s events, with gates opening at 5 p.m., will include hayrides, children’s games and fire truck rides.
