perintendent Robert Chappell and Sheriff John Henry Woodward agreed it would be safe to let the students back into the building.
When the students returned, they were allowed an additional 10 minutes of study time before the start of afternoon exams. The exams started 20 minutes late and an additional 10 minutes were added to the end of the exam period. Mr. Toth said students were also told they could stay longer if they needed to finish, but none did.
He added that the school contacted the telephone company and will be able to trace such calls “from now on.”
The Sheriffs Office is also cooperating in an investigation of the call.
