Special thanks to Rappahannock1 County Health nurse Marion Sharp, Laura Swafford, Connie Corbin and Jeanne Utz, nurses from the Culpeper Health Department and Culpeper Hospital nurse Dorothy Scott who have volunteered to staff the health fair from 1 to 6 p.m. on June 20 at the Ruritan’s Craft Show at Early’s Carpet. Dorothy’s daughter Marilynn has also volunteered to register participants.
There is a $6 fee for cholesterol screening; no charge for diabetes and blood pressure checks.

The Ruritans will have a bake sale and fireworks stand. Also, lunch will be available.
WQRA 94.3 FM Sunny Van will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., they will be giving away free pastries, balloons and pepsi.
In United Methodist news, Vacation bible school will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 15-19.
Neighboring Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department has a pig roast and band Saturday, June 13.
