for plant supplies. Through May almost $7,900 had been spent, and there is a bill for an additional $2,000. The dechlorinator was not on-line for the whole year. The new budget allows $12,000 for plant supplies, and the authority members are not certain they can manage for that amount.
The proposed budget allows an additional $1,000 for lab tests. Member Jimmy Swindler said that the plant has run into trouble with the State Water Control Board on some of the reports.
Authority members decided last Thursday to wait and check on figures for expected income before taking final action on the budget, which goes into effect July 1.
