“We may not be able to get the final*-; smooth coat of asphalt on the road by then,” Moore said. "We need a 60 degree day to spread the asphalt,” he added.
Franklin construction still must complete work around the intersection with Route 622 (the Shade Road), finish building guard rails, and resurface all four lanes with fresh pavement, Moore said.
Moore said that the strange kink in the east bound lanes between^he high school and Route 622 has been removed. The roadway is being regraded through that area. When the work is completed the east bound lanes of U.S. 211 will curve smoothly around Faith Mountain.
