Gooch pointed out that the Town of Washington apparently is the first in the utility’s service area to raise the issue. ‘"Hiey are afraid other towns might want to do this,” he said.
Always concerned about the cost, Miller asked for another survey of residents, this one to include more information about the total costs of each fixture.
“If you want decorative fixtures, you are going to have to pay for it,” Morehouse added.
Gooch pointed out that it is not possible to get an accurate idea of the cost until the fixtures are put to bid, which Potomac Edison would handle.
“All I want is the figures,” said Miller. “I never make a decision without the figures.”
“I am fustrated by the-entire process,” said Morehouse. “We have been doing this for two years and we do not know how many (fixtures) we want, what we want and where we want them.”
