MARSHALL — Following a spirited campaign, the lower School at Wakefield School elected officers for the coming year.
Andrew Speziale of Front Royal was eleetred president. Justin Updike of Washington was elected vicepresident and the new secretarytreasurer is Alexander Henry of Woodstock.
The new officers are planning several activities including dances and fund raisers.
The fourth grade class has been studying Native Americans. As part of that study, the students made a recent field trip to Washington, D. C., to view related exhibits at the Library of Congress, the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery.
