Buffet breakfast at WVFD
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be sponsoring a buffet breakfast from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the fire hall. The menu will consist of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, pancakes, hash browns, baked apples, french toast, cereal, hot chocolate, coffee and juice. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Future buffet breakfast dates are Dec. 19 with Santa and rides, Jan. 16, Feb. 13, March 13 and April 13, 1993 with an Easter Egg hunt.
Christmas bazaar
On Saturday, Dec. 5, the 10th annual Christmas Crafters Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Parish Hall of Precious Blood Catholic Church, 401 N. Main Street, Culpeper. Parking in the rear of the church. The bazaar will feature many local crafters offering a variety of beautiful Christmas decorations, wood items, hand loomed rugs, folk art, tole painting, wreaths, sweaters, flowers, decoupage, crotched items, hand made baskets, and various other items.
