Dr. G.E. Broman
named president
At the annual meeting of the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) held last week, Dr. George E. Broman of Culpeper became president of the organization.
A member of the MSV since 1965, Broman served last year as president-elect. He has also been vice counselor, second vice president, vice speaker of the society’s House of Delegates, and speaker of the House of Delegates.
Besides his work with the MSV, Broman has given countless hours ol volunteer service to the Culpeper community as team physician to Culpeper County High School and as a member of the boards of Culpeper Memorial Hospital, CMH Health Corporation, and the CMH Foundation. He was president of CMH medical staff from 1977 to 1979 and received the L.B. Henretty Award for services to the community in 1985.
