seeks operator
The Water and Sewer Authority has voted to advertise for a new plant operator by the end of the month.
WSA secretary Jimmy Swindler estimated that the job would take about 30 hours a week if Daniel Keyser continues to perform the last afternoon test, and the hours at the sewer plant are combined with services for the schools.
WSA members agreed they would either need to continue with Environmental Systems Services of Culpeper for weekend plant management or hire someone else to cover weekends and times when the operator is sick or on vacation.
