Pageant of Peace which begins with the lighting of the National Christmas tree on Dec. 10. Volunteer groups will perform between 6 and 9 p.m. nightly from Dec. 11 through 23 and Dec. 26 through 30.
Around the village, congratulations to Roger and Gail Ashby upon the birth of son Ely Harrison bn Nov. 7. He weighed six pounds and seven ounces and was 20 inches long. Mandolyn, Zachariah, and Jessica are excited about the arrival of their baby brother.
I hope you saw the photo of Emma Swatman in last week’s Rappahannock News. She is a member of the Girls’ Basketball team.
Congratulations to Courtney Mauro for receiving straight A’s for the first advisory period honor roll for Rappahannock Elementary. Courtney is a seventh grader. Congrats to all those others making the honor roll.
