Spaghetti dinner at church The Amissville United Methodist Church will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the church. The menu will consist of spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert, coffee, tea or soft drink. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Following the dinner a cake walk will begin at 7:30 p. m.

Bloodmobile coming The Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers will sponsor a Red Cross bloodmobile from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at the Washington fire hall.

Craft festival A craft festival will be held from 2 to 7 p. m. on Friday, Dec. 4 and from 10 iun to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at St. Luke’s Lutheran School in Culpeper. There will be crafters with wood items, jewelry Christmas decorations, food and drinks. Spaces may be rented bv calling Peggy Brown at 825-3091 after 6 p.m.

Advisory committee to meet The Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee for the Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet in the Rappahannock Elementary School library at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The meeting is open to the public. The functions of the committee are to advise the Director of Pupil Personnel of the needs of the gifted program, to disseminate information in working with the gifted program, to acquire parents volunteers to help with the gifted program, to help evaluate the gifted program and to make recommendations for improvement.

Christmas in Sperryville The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor their annual Blue Ridge Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 27, 28 and 29. Members of the council will offer seasonal sales, special gift ideas, catalog closeout sales, open houses, free refreshments, antiques galore, wreaths, trees, greenery and Christmas cheer. There will be a raffle drawing on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. at Country Home Antiques for a $450 shopping spree from participating merchants. Tickets may be purchased from any Business Council member.

Drumming workshop A drumming circle workshop led by Ken Anoff, professional drummer and percussionist from the faculty of the University of Maryland will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 at Workspace for Choreographers in Sperryville. Times will be 12:30-2 p.m. for children and 2:305:30 for adults. Drums will be provided for those without one of their own.
