a time of fellowship during breakfast at the Old School House next door. Rev. Futch recently began pastoring at Forest Grove Baptist. He is from Mount Vernon. The community extends a warm welcome to him and his family.

It is based on Catherine Marshall’s novel public in 1967 with an estimated 30 million readers, in which the Baltimore Sun said “overflows with real-life happenings and the spirit of a frontier community where a young woman first encounters life’s real meaning and challenges,” in Appalachia.
