Players Shine
Three Rappahannock players helped the Culpeper Comets U-13 travel soccer team to a 4 to 2 victory in the first game of the spring season Sunday.
Ryland Pace scored the first goal with a header in the first five minutes of the game at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg with the Vista Warriors.
For the team’s second goal Sky Watson kicked the ball just in front of the goal for an easy score by Culpeper’s Brad Armstrong.
For the team’s third goal Ryland converted a comer kick with an assist from Michael Greenaway. Adam Rogers from Rappahannock County also plays for the Comets.
