Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Brown accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Menefee of Culpeper spent all last week on a cruise on the Bahama Islands. In their absence, Mrs. Mary Hash stayed with Mrs. Brown’s mother, Mrs. Gid Jenkins.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Mary Eliza Peyton, who passed away on Friday at the Culpeper Health Care Center.

An auction as a fund raiser fo'r the new Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association is tentatively being planned to be held at the Cedar Mountain Campground.

Our prayers are with Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss Cooper who were injured in an automobile accident near Winchester on Saturday evening and are patients in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.

For the fourth advisory at the Rappahannock Elementary School, we are happy to report that Amanda Sims a sixth grader, made the all A honor roll and Joseph Peregory, a fourth grader made the A and B honor roll. These are our area young people and we wish for their continued success.

Mr. and Mrs. William Ward were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Weaver.

Specialist Fourth Class Mitchell Terry who had been visiting his mother Mrs. Irene Terry and other relatives here has left for a three years tour in Germany. His previous assignment was to have been to Panama, which was changed. Mrs. Terry will join her husband in Germany soon.
