Mary Peyton
Mary Eliza Peyton, 79, of Boston died on Friday, April 7 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
She was born Aug. 26,' 1915, in Rappahannock County to the late Thelbert Lewis and Nealy Seale Hitt.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary F. Cooper of Culpeper, Elizabeth L. Smoot of Madison and Betty L. Woodard of Culpeper and three sons, Marion S. Peyton of Aroda, James R. Peyton of Culpeper and Andrew J. Peyton of Boston.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses in Culpeper on Tuesday, April 11 with Warren A. Thompson officiating.

Julia Jett
Julia Elizabeth Jackson Jett, 62, of Huntly died Friday, April 7.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill.
Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery at Flint Hill.
Mrs. Jett was bom Nov, 29, 1932, daughter of the late Edward Daniel and Violet Dora Renzie Jackson.
She was a housewife and a charter member of the Eastern Star.
