Just this week, Tom von Fange qualified to run against incumbent John Tole in the StonewallHawthome district. Mr. von Fange is a former pastor of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church and presently owns the furniture business in Sperryville, “Antique Tables Made Daily.” He taught shop at the Rappahannock County High School from Nov. 1979 through June 1981 and taught earth science there from Aug. 1989 through June, 1991. •
Two new people from Piedmont will run for that seat: Sam Snead and Dennis Wingfield. Incumbent representative Frances Thornton declined to run.
