open competition is sponsored by the Family Community Educators in the three counties and is open to anyone over age 19.
Past exhibitors would generally agree there is a special thrill in seeing something you have created on display, and if it as a big blue ribbon, all the better!
Many 4-H’ers are already hard to work on exhibits for the homemaking competition. The various 4-H clubs have had training sessions to prepare themselves and their animals for the shows. Beef steer projects have been weighed in, as have market hogs and market lambs. All will be sold at the livestock sale on Monday, July 24.
