Mrs. Helen Burke Jenkins, 84, of Oneida, Tenn., formerly of Culpeper, died on Monday, June 5 at Baptist Hospital in East Tennessee.
She was bom in Rappahannock County on Oct. 11, 1910.
She was a member of Culpeper United Methodist Church.
Her parents were the late Daniel Burke and Cinnie Burke.
Her husband was the late Veria Jenkins.
Survivors include one son. Bill Jenkins of Oneida, Tenn.; two sisters, Mable Fairy- B. Backe and Martha B. Dodson, both of Culpeper; three grandsons, Timothy L. Jenkins of Oneida, Tenn., William C. Jenkins Jr. and James M. Jenkins, both of Culpeper and three great-grandchildren, Anna Jenkins and Stephanie Jenkins, both of Germany and Chandler Jenkins of Culpeper,
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Burke and five sisters, Lizzie Dodson, Laura Jenkins, Mandy Jacobs, Dolly Hanzer and Mary- Burke.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 10 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin C. Cook and the Rev. Hazel Eakin officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Timothy L. Jenkins, William C. Jenkins, Jr., James M. Jenkins, Lewis Dodson, Grady Dodson and Gene Backe.
