Mrs. Ethel Tyner will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Saturday, June 17. Family and friends will be helping Mrs. Tyner celebrate by honoring her with a birthday party beginning at 11 a.m. at Mrs. Tyner’s home. The Baptist and Methodist Churches have offered the use of their parking lots for visitors to Mrs. Tyner’s party. All who wish to attend are invited and are asked to bring a covered dish and lawn chair.
Mrs. Shirley Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. was a Saturday overnight guest of Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mrs. Kushner and Mrs. Brown attended the graduation at Rappahannock High on Saturday morning where Paul Brown was a graduate.
Mrs. Barbara Payne of Warrenton was a Friday afternoon guest of her mother, Mrs. Brown.
Mr. Tommy Brown of the United States Air Force stationed in Utah arrived on Thursday for a 30 day visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Strother Brown and family.
The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained Friday night at the home of Mrs. Dot Estes.
