Three Rappahannock County residents were among the 10 boys and three girls graduated from Wakefield Country Day School Sunday evening.
Welby Lynn, the class valedictorian, graduated Summa Cum Laude with the advanced honors classical-scientific diploma. She will attend Bryn^Javfr College in in Bryn Mawr, Pa. She also received the school’s science award. jj-,
Elizabeth Nugent a^R^received the advanced honors classical-scientific diploma. She will attend the College of William and Mary. jf
Timpthy Inglis received the classical diploma. He will attend Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa.
A sudden storm drove the ceremony inside from the garden. Del. Jay Katzen, R31st District, the graduation speaker, said he had long wanted to be asked to address a graduating class at Wakefield. His middle son graduated from the school.
