Sgt. Fridley, of the Warrenton office, said that the vehicle skidded across the highway after running off the road, and ended up in a Field, upside-down. Mr. Jolliffe was injured in the accident. He was charged with reckless driving by State Trooper Charles Moore.
Also on the evening of June 1, a female juvenile operating a 1993 Toyota 4-door ran off the road after swerving to avoid hitting an animal. The accident happened on U.S; 211 a half mile west of Route 626 near Washington. The car skidded across the highway and struck an embankment.
On June 10, two vehicles collided on Route 626 in Rock Mills, .1 mile east of Route 622. According to Sgt. Fridley, the, vehicles, driven by William H. Laimbeer, 37, and a male juvenile, both from Castleton, entered a curve at the same time and struck each other.
On June 11, Milton C. Hudson, 31, of Washington, was charged with failing to yield the right of way in an accident which occurred at the intersection of U.S. 211 and Route 626 in Washington.
According to Sgt. Fridley, Mr. Hudson was pulling out onto U.S. 211 from Route 626 when he was struck by a 1989 BMW driven by Linden J. Vonezchel, 45, of Woodville. Ms. Vonezchel was injured.
