Rappahannock native Richard W. Burke recently completed 25 years of service with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
He is an equipment operator assigned to the Rappahannock area headquarters.
Mr. Burke, who grew up in the Rock Mills-Woodville area, enjoys fox hunting and gardening, however, “auction and flea market sales (have become) a favorite hobby in the current years,” he adds. He is an active member of Five Forks f Regular Baptist Church. He and i his wife, Rena, have one son, Die.
