Both the candidates for the 31st District seat in the House of Delegates were in the county this past weekend. ■> Incumbent Republican Jay Katzen addressed the graduating class at Wakefield Country Day School Sunday evening.
Democratic challenger Sue Scheer met with county citizens at a party at Bill and Linda Dietel’s Over Jordan Farm Saturday evening.
Hers was the more partisan speech, which was normal given the different circumstances.
She said she got interested in seeking elective office when the Disney Company proposed to put a theme park in western Prince William County.
