As they settled up with the organizers at the end of the Second Annual Equestrian Games to benefit the Flint Hill Fire Department, everyone said, “This was fun.”
The fire department did fairly well also even through the jumping classes were cancelled due to lack of sufficient entries.
Rebecca Metcalfe was the champion in the non leadline events with Debbie Welch as reserve champion. Medora Hartz defeated her brother Johnny by one point to gain the leadline championship.
All the contestants received hearty encouragement.
Results follow:
Monte Carlo 1 - 1st Medora Hartz, 2nd Rebecca Metcalfe, 3rd Johnny Hartz.
Monte Carlo 2 - 1st Justin Berger, 2nd Noel Johns, 3rd Jacob Weakley.
Open Command Class - 1st Rebecca Metcalfe, 2nd Julia Bennet, 3rd unknown, 4th Douglas Hartz.
Command Class - lead line - Division 1 - 1st Natalie Colley, 2nd Louise Johns, 3rd Johnny Hartz, 4th Medora Hartz.
