Members of the Planning Commission decided to take another look at conference centers, resorts and lodges before approving amendments to the Zoning Ordinance for conference centers and country clubs, but voted to recommend approval for other ordinance amendments to prohibit post offices, museums, auction houses and antique/gift shops in agricultural zones.
They also reluctantly went along with changes in the ordinance to bring county law into compliance with state law regarding mobile homes. The 1995 session of the General Assembly passed a law that says
