She graduated from Appalachian State in West Virginia with a major in production recording. She took teaching classes at Shenandoah University and is working on a master’s degree from Shenandoah.
She said she hopes to have more students in band. “I want them to learn music and enjoy doing so,” she said.
She lives in Woodbridge with her husband who is in the Marine Corps drum and bugle corps and hopes to find a place closer to her work to live.
Beth Young will be a speech assistant at the elementary school. For the past eight years, she said, she has been a “Stay at home Mom,” she said. She has a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology from West Virginia University, and will work on her masters degree in speech and language therapy at James Madison University to become fully certified.
Mrs. Young lives in Winchester.
Holly Probst taught high school art for three years several years ago in West Virginia, Maryland and Fauquier County. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. Then she worked for Fauquier Hospital for 10 years as the director of computer services.
She and her husband moved to Flint Hill 13 years ago. She said with
