A Stream Study Program, which involves testing the water quality of a mountain stream, is being offered on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Mathews Arm (mile 22.2 on the Skyline Drive).
This activity begins at the Mathews Arm trailhead parking area. Sturdy footwear and drinking water are suggested for this one-mile, moderate hike. Reservations are required, as space is limited to 20 participants. Please call the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center 635-3566 to make reservations.
