the federal government not given the right to tax the people directly. He feels that the federal government should ask the states for money when needed. “We need to repeal the 16th amendment in the constitution (which permits income taxes),” he said.
Ron Frazier said that the issues in the county are taxes, the landfill, the schools, and taxes. He feels that the Board of Supervisors has delegated more and more of the responsibilities in the last eight years to the County Administrator. “The board needs to do the work they were elected to do,” he said.
Mr. Frazier said he would require an evaluation of all school programs and the administrative positions with job descriptions and duties of those positions because he believes “we are getting much too top heavy there in the administration department.”
