NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: PROPOSAL TO AMEND COUNTY CODE PROVISION CONCERNING MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE TAX Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County intends to hold a public hearing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 6, 1995, at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider amendments to Chapter 151, Article X, §151-41 of the Rappahannock County Code, related to the Motor Vehicle License Tax. The Amendments for consideration are as follows: To add the words “or operator” after the word “owner” in the first sentence of § 151 -41. To strike the balance of the first sentence following the words “expiration date”. The effect of these amendments is to more accurately mirror enabling legislation appearing in the Code of Virginia.
