Monarchs have won both the regular season title and playoffs.
Following the game, the Monarchs received trophies for winning both the regular season and playoff crowns. Vincent Aylor receive a plaque for Monarchs’ MVP and Timmy Clanagan receive a plaque for winning the Monarchs’ sportsmanship award.
On Saturday, Edinburg beat the Monarch 11-7 behind another fine pitching performance by Edinburg’s MVP Toby Keller. Keller pitched all nine innings, scattered twelve hits, allowed seven runs, stuck out six and walked two.
