popular excursion. Another favorite trek is up the Cedar Run trail to a pool with a rock slide. On the Hughes River campers enjoy a swimming hole and a rope swing.
The camp day also includes quiet activities. Campers write stories and illustrate them and play math games. They enjoy constructing with wood. The second Thursday of each camp session is an overnight. Campers bring sleeping bags and tents (if they have them). Campers are quite enthusiastic about setting up the camp site and cooking out.
