Congratulations to Thomas Dowell a seventh grader and his brother, Stephen, a fifth grader who have received academic honors for the third quarter marking period at the Wakefield County Day School where they are students. The Dowells live in Castleton.
Congratulations are also in order for Miss Elizabeth Boyd who is a student at Lynchburg College for having been named to the Dean’s List for the fall quarter. She is a freshman nursing major and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Boyd here in Boston.
Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby, Cnssy, Kevin and Jason were Cookout party guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family on Castleton Ford Road Saturday evening. ,

Miss Allison Baker, daughter of David Baker down Salem Way was in Richmond recently with other members of St. Luke’s Intermediate Choir when they participated in the annual King’s Dominion Choral Festival. The choir performed, This Little Light of Mine, All Things Bright and Beautiful and Promised Land.
