Executive chef Douglas Gibson is acclaimed for his Virginia cuisine with a nouvelle twist. For his innovative dishes, he makes the most of each season’s bounty by combining vegetables and herbs cultivated in our kitchen garden with seasonal delicacies from a network of local growers. Chef Thomas Schmidt also has a deep-seated love for Southern cooking, and his skills add extra flair to Willow Grove’s cuisine.
The menu for the Charity Ball includes bruchetta, pork satays, house-smoked chicken in phyllo, miniature trout cakes, forest mushrooms with rabbit sausage, paella, salad, tenderloin, roasted potatoes, homemade rolls, and a selection of desserts. Coffee will be served at the end of the evening.
The CMH Charity Ball benefits the annual fund of the CMH Foundation, Medical Care for All.
